About

About the girl:

Hmm… always at a loss for what to say when I’m describing myself. Let’s see…

I get strange kicks out of filling up the ice tray to the perfect height. I like my clothes with a lot of pockets in them… I can never have too many pockets. I like exploring the city by foot, and more recently, by bike. I also like to jog through parks, play tennis, and spend afternoons soaking up the sun on the beach. I try to break a sweat everyday. Which isn’t hard to do, since I sweat a lot for a girl.

I love culture and the arts and awakening my hoity toity, pretentious side every once in a while, although I really am quite a down-to-earth girl inside.

If you want me to come out of hibernation, tempt me with coffee dates in the winter and patio/sangria dates in the summer. I’m particularly partial to sushi and always up for trying new restaurants, no matter what the cuisine. I find that most of life’s most memorable moments revolve around food. :)

My room is covered with post-it notes because I can’t remember anything otherwise. I sit on a stability ball instead of a chair at home because it helps my lower back pain (yeah, I’m a granny) and I can bounce on it every now and then to shake myself awake.

I’m terribly intolerable of stupidity, and far more judgmental than I’d like to be. I like to think that I’m a lot smarter than I look, although, admittedly, that’s not saying much. I have as many hormonal mood swings as the next girl, but my default disposition is cheerful and optimistic, although getting more and more jaded by the day.

About itzakadoozie:

Having just graduated and making the transition from school to work, life couldn’t be grander. =)

I finally have time to pick up hobbies and expand my intellectual horizons (funny how school didn’t do that for me).

And now I have time to blog. :)

I blog about a lot of things, spanning food, fitness, music, marketing, and anything that I deem interesting, funny, or inspirational enough to talk about. The majority of it will be self-indulgence, but occasionally, I may muse about random topics irrelevant to my life, lol.

Take a gander, and if you’re interested, subscribe me! ;)

Trying to break a sweat everyday is a pretty inspiring way to think about it. Good on you! Bouncing on the stability ball to wake up made me chuckle too.
