That’s sad because the D&D player would arguably be a better boyfriend.

Ask the girlfriends/wives of Dennis Rodman, Kobe Bryant, Alvin Robertson, Anthony Mason, Justin Williams, Jason Kidd, and many more how they feel about their boyfriend/husband.
It’s a well known fact that most jocks are assholes. This is especially prevalent in the NBA. A huge number of NBA players have been charged with rape and other crimes.

I don’t know that the frequent cheating is so much a product of NBA players’ character rather than increased opportunities to do so. I’m sure most nerds don’t have drop dead gorgeous whores throwing themselves at them.
Basement nerds have their shortcomings as well… and although none of them are as bad as infidelity or rape, they’re probably more prevalent amongst all nerds than the former is amongst NBA players .
Not that I would take a Tiger Woods over a Bill Gates or anything. Jus’ sayin’, jus’ sayin’.
P.S. I find it bizarre that you know so much about NBA rape history and you didn’t know who T.I. was, lol.
I disagree with your assertion that the shortcomings of nerds apply to more of them than the shortcomings of NBA players. I think all-around assholishness is just as prevalent in NBA players and other jocks (even if it isn’t something like rape or cheating) as things like social awkwardness are to nerds.
People’s preferences vary, but I would rather live with certain flaws and be treated with respect than be with some hot and exciting person and be treated like crap.
And Bill Gates is da man. If I was a girl, I’d be all over that. 😛
If you’re referring to NBA players’ shortcomings like insensitivity and arrogance, then it’s probably just as prevalent as D&D players’ shortcomings like detachment from reality and lack of romantic gestures (in which case, I don’t know which one I would prefer, esp. since I myself am probably closer to having the former than the latter characteristics). But I was referring to the shortcomings of rape and infidelity.
Alright, looks like we agree then.
